The association was founded in 2016 by a group of friends from the city of Ambanja, who have been involved in medical and social activities for years.
The trigger was the new Malagasy legislation authorizing individuals to operate in Public Health establishments. It is for this reason that the MIARO association was created and that an agreement had been stipulated with the Ministry of Public Health of Madagascar in order to provide concrete support to the health structures of the city of Ambanja, which were in a situation of extreme degradation and criticality.
Since its inception, the association has also supported the children's home (more than 100 orphans or children in difficulty) in Ambanja and the reception home in Antananarivo for girls who wish to continue their studies or work in management and fundraising and partnerships.
